Duplicating lets you clone an existing survey in one click, preserving questions, responses and logic so you can experiment without rebuilding. It’s perfect for quick A/B tests, seasonal tweaks, or making major edits while keeping the original live. Here’s everything you need to know.
- Open Surveys in your Compra admin.
- Find the survey you want to copy.
- Click the ︙ (three-dot) menu → Duplicate.
- A new draft named “Copy of …” appears—ready to edit.
What gets copied?
- Questions and their answer options
- Conditional logic / skip-logic
- Response settings (shuffle, etc.)
Heads-up: Targeting rules and response data does not get duplicated. Set fresh targeting before you publish.
Best-practice checklist before you hit Publish-
- Rename clearly - “Summer NPS Variant A” beats “Copy of Copy (2)”.
- Re-rank in the priority list so your survey displays in the correct order.
- Review targeting settings - make sure you configure the targeting for the duplicated survey
